      So much of Tracy’s book lends itself to the high school world.  Here is a blog post about my freshmen special ed Foundations of Algebra I class using Estimation 180, Solve Me Puzzles, and Visual Patterns.  I was feeling like I wasn’t getting anywhere with my students but the end of Chapter 9 reminded me to persevere and it will pay off.
